City Allocates Anew Food Packs for Areas Under Strict Quarantine
The local government of San Carlos City allocated more than P820, 000 for the 2,000 food packs as Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo places portions of Brgys. V and VI under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) for 14 days starting June 20.

Of the total food packs, an initial of 1, 060 were distributed to affected families which budget was taken from the P77M Bayanihan Grant to Provinces (BGP) program of the national government.
Cynthia Mirande, CSWD officer said each food pack contained seven kilos of rice, canned goods, noodles, monggo beans, sugar, coffee, dried fish, biscuits and milk distributed to 700 families in Brgy. V and 360 families in Brgy. VI on June 21.
Brgy. V Kagawad Rogelio Quillas shared that they requested the PNP to resolve minor troubles in his areas of responsibility, zones five and six of Brgy. V, such as hard-headed residents who go out without masks and half-naked.
Brgy. VI Kagawad Federico Para-on also expressed his gratitude to the local government for providing food assistance.
Ealier, Mayor Gustilo signed EO No. 145 placing portions of Brgys. V and VI under ECQ to contain the spread of COVID-19 while the local government unit is still doing contact tracing after one resident of said area became positive of the virus.
