Local Employees Undergo Advocacy Seminar
Employees of the national and local government of San Carlos City including those of the private sectors underwent a seminar on Employees’ Compensation Program (ECP) yesterday, May 30, 2019.

At least 150 participants attended said activity facilitated by the Employees’ Compensation Commission (ECC) of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) thru San Carlos City’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO) held at La Vista Highlands Mountain Resort in Brgy. Prosperidad.
ECC Deputy Director Atty. Jonathan Villasoto said the seminar aimed at informing employees of the service benefits they can get or their family from Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) and Social Security System (SSS) in case they get sick, injured or expire during the course of their jobs.
Resource speakers from ECC who talked about prevention and rehabilitation services and compensation include Ma. Cecilia Maulion, Information and Public Assistance Chief, Dr. Sarah Concepcion, Medical Officer IV, and Alicia Borres, Information Officer IV.
One of the participants Joanne Belarma of Mosquera Hotels and Restaurants Company said she was grateful having attended said seminar since it was very informative and helpful.
